 Quaker Hill Historic District

Breckstone partnered with a local non-profit to acquire and redevelop the interconnected multiple 19th Century row homes into new housing stock to provide local residents and first-time home buyers affordable homeownership opportunities.  Using a Smart growth approach, this project transformed a vacant and blighted single property into (2) condominiums and (1) single family dwelling for market sale.  Each renovated home purposefully met the requirements of the State of Delaware Historic Preservation Credits and the non-profit was awarded almost $300K in tax credits as a result of our efforts.  All properties sold within three months of completion.
