Contemporary Home in the Woods

This wooded lot required special considerations in siting in order to save the greatest amount of the large specimens of mature trees. The entry road wound through the site to the entry. The surprise arrival revealed only an entry portal. A house tucked into the woods and the landscape. The views as one enters and from the porches and windows reveals only the natural views of a mature forest whose creatures (mainly raccoons) visit daily. The interiors are dramatic as you can see in the pictures below.
